Ridley Township Public Library Teen YouTube Video Contest In honor of National Library Week, which begins on April 11th, |

Make a 1-5 minute public service video sharing why you like, appreciate, value, and/or love the Ridley Library! Any teen or teens, in 6th through 12th grade may enter. In the event of a group submission, the prize will be divided among the group members. Finalists will be judged by area library staff and winners will be chosen based on creativity, unique portrayal of love for libraries and the resources they provide, and overall likeability. The winners will be announced on April 1. They will then be featured on our website (www.ridleylibrary.org) and on our Facebook fan pages to celebrate National Library Week. How to Enter
a. Review YouTube’s Terms of Use especially item 6: Your User Submissions and item 12: Ability to Accept Terms of Service. b. If you are under 13, you must have a parent or guardian sign-up for the account. c. All entries must adhere to the YouTube Community Guidelines. d. Be sure to look at the section about copyright and YouTube. 2. Create Your Video a. Videos can focus on books, programs, technologies or services the Library offers. Videos do not have to be filmed at the library. Participants filming in the library must first get permission from the Reference librarian, the Library Director, or the Teen Librarian. Be creative! b. Video entries must incorporate, in audio or video, the words: Ridley Township Library c. Video entries must be original works created between February 1, 2010 and March 13, 2010. d. Video entry forms will only be accepted between February 1, 2010 and March 13, 2010. e. Video length must be no more than five minutes long.
a. If you are under 13, please have a parent or guardian submit your video. b. Give your video a title, description, and tags. c. Make sure one of the tags you assign is "Ridley Township Public Library.”
a. Entries will be accepted February 1 to March 13, 2010. b. At the end of the entry form, please write a short description of your video and how you think it shows your love for the Ridley Township Library. c. Entry forms should be filled out and bottom portion only can be returned to Kim Christensen (Teen Librarian) at the library. Address any questions to Kim Christensen (teens@ridleylibrary.org) d. Copies of the official rules are available online and in the downstairs library.
